I know I'm not really active up here or anywhere else for that matter but I want to be. My cunning plan for creating more because of this blog is fading away somehow. Well... maybe I need some feedback here.... maybe.... or maybe I'm just lazy.
I did however made a sort of window shade for my bathroom roof window so that the sun doesn't heat it up as much. Used my old white sheet again but I think it needs some decoration too. But there are three more things on my to-do list before that and I have only till the end of this week to finish everything. After that it's back to work again.
Wish me luck and read ya all soon!

Let There be Light
Sooooo... it's finally done and photographed and collages were made and.... gah... the post works *me faints*
Anyways.... here is the photo of my finished project that took such a long time:

It's a lampshade! :D I made it from A LOT of plastic bottle caps, old newspapers and those commercial newspapers you get into your mailbox daily. From the outside I spray painted it with white glossy color and on the inside I used gold acrylics. The bulb is of course an energy saving one.
I'm really pleased with how it turned out and I will definitely be making more as soon as I collect enough bottle caps again.

Sunday Crafting
It was a weird day today but I managed to work on my WIPs from my previous post and even begin a new one - skirt.
After making the first mistake with it I had to make it really simple. There was also a mistake No.2 where I managed to make a hole in the fabric but it's all hidden luckily but I must admit it.... one has to take TIME to make things!

The skirt is done now but I want to make it prettier with some applique or with printing on it. I've been trying to make a lino cut stamp for years now :/ Any suggestions about the motif?

The First One
And here it is... my first blog post ever....
I created this blog to help me craft more, draw more, photograph more - anything creative more really.
I'll be really happy and excited to read any comments I might get - especially those about my works in progress.
Speaking of which here are two sneak previews:

Thank you for dropping by and I hope you'll come back :)
